Our Ace of Spades Wall Art is a masterpiece of drama. You’ll love this powerful design whether you’re a fan of Texas Holden, the American 101st Airborne Division or Motorhead.
The history bit: It’s traditionally the highest card in the pack — well at least in English-speaking countries it is. The ornate design of the Ace of Spades dates back to James 1 in the 17th Century and later Queen Ann who made it law for the Ace of Spades to display the printing house’s insignia. Stamp duty was paid on playing cards from 1711 until 1960. So now when you play your hand, you can impress your friends with your card playing knowledge.
The highs and lows of art. While it’s the highest card in the pack, it doesn’t come with a high price, at least from Fabulous Furniture it doesn’t. So while you can admire it as a picture and an investment piece, you’ll know that you have paid a fair price.
